Location: New York, NY

Salary: 130-150K (+ benefits, bonus, 401K contributions)




The Global RFP Team collaborates closely with each of the firm’s distinct business units and investment teams to craft responsive marketing collateral for Requests for Proposal (“RFP”) searches and Due Diligence Questionnaires (“DDQs”). The team works across all distribution channels responding to requests from each of the firm’s various client types from around the world. The team is committed to consistently and efficiently delivering high-quality product to enhance our global sales, marketing, and client service efforts.

We are looking for an experienced RFP Manager to join the team.  The RFP Manager is an integral part of the broader Global RFP and will lead a team of RFP Writers covering our North American business. 


  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team including the allocation and review of RFPs and DDQs
  • Manage the coordination and completion of the most complex and customized RFPs and DDQs
  • Focus on value added and customization of RFP and DDQs during production and reviews
  • Provide training and ongoing feedback to team members during the RFP production and in regular one-on-one meetings
  • Manage the recruitment, retention and progression of team members
  • Work with the Global RFP leadership team to refine the Global RFP team processes and overall organization, communicating the specific needs of North America
  • Collaborate on strategic RFP projects to improve our messaging and support business development efforts in North America
  • Gather market intelligence and process/systems best practices from the industry and competitors
  • Regular and ad hoc discussions with client coverage, investment teams, and Subject Matter Experts (“SMEs”) to convey key aspects of the RFP process and best practices for successful RFPs
  • Collaborate with SMEs throughout the firm to craft accurate responses to standard and customized questions
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the firm’s product offerings and investment capabilities


  • Undergraduate degree (economics, finance or business preferred)
  • 10+ years’ experience in an RFP role at an asset management firm, 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Broad market knowledge across asset classes, experience in fixed income and alternatives preferred
  • Experience editing/rewriting compelling, client centric RFP responses required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with senior investment professionals and Subject Matter Experts
  • Experience using RocketDocs (PMAPS) is a plus
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
